Biography
Paul concentrates his practice in all aspects of patent procurement and patent enforcement matters. Paul has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in the mechanical and electrical arts, including the technology areas of medical devices, gas turbine engines, cutting tool materials and metallurgical processes, power tools, dunnage converter machines, network technology, image processing machines, computer hardware and software devices, aircraft wheel and brake assemblies, and telecommunications technologies.
Paul has extensive experience in drafting opinions of non-infringement and invalidity, advising clients on ways to avoid different types of infringement, particularly from an international perspective, and counseling clients on enforcement matters.
Paul can speak conversational Japanese.
