Biography
Mark joined the firm in 1989. His practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications and counseling clients on patent infringement, validity and related patent litigation claims. Mark specializes in the electrical arts and has extensive experience in the consumer electronics field.
Mark’s practice stretches across the globe. He enjoys travel to Asia and Europe, and frequently gives presentations to foreign clients regarding the practice of patent law in the United States. Mark has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer (Law & Politics).
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mark was an electrical engineer for Alpha Industries, Inc. in Massachusetts, specializing in high-frequency component design in the microwave and millimeter wave bands. Mark began his engineering career at the Central Intelligence Agency, developing instruments for covert communications.
