Biography
Ken has counseled clients of all sizes, from multi-billion dollar, international corporations to individual inventors alike, in a variety of intellectual property matters for over two decades. He focuses his practice on preparing and prosecuting patent and trademark applications and providing opinions including patentability, invalidity, non-infringement, and right-to-make.
Ken is experienced in a wide array of mechanical and electrical technologies. Exemplary technologies include image-guided surgical systems, semiconductor devices for high-speed computer processors and flash memory assemblies, manufacturing techniques semiconductor devices, liquid crystal displays, portable electronic devices, application software, software-based control systems, micro-electrical mechanical systems (MEMS), microwave antenna systems, and electrical circuits.
Before becoming an IP attorney, Ken spent over a decade as a control/application engineer for Rockwell Automation (Reliance Electric) and Emerson Drive Solutions, where he worked on various applications including tire and rubber, crane and hoist, and paper converting. His engineering experience and technical expertise enables him to offer especially valuable guidance to his clients.
